Laying Down My Arms
I found solace on the island in the middle of our kitchen, which is the prep table. I could stand for 10 hours straight just chopping, mixing, tasting - a habit that my mother doesn’t fully comprehend. All she understands is that it’s what I call passion.
Made some last night and it’s worth my burnt finger. Yum!
